PCN-DR-002-2016 Vishay Milwaukee Additional Manufacturing Location
Please be advised that the Vishay Milwaukee wirewound resistor products 375 Watts and below will now have primary manufacturing located in Juarez, Mexico. This change affects all RDSF, RDSA, RDEA, RDEF, RBEF, RBEA, RBSF, RBSA, OVSF, and CS66 products under 375 watts. The Milwaukee factory will remain as a
secondary manufacturing site.
CLASSIFICATION OF CHANGE: Addition of Manufacturing Facility / Manufacturing Location Change
REASON FOR CHANGE: Move commodity resistors to an ISO:9001 certified factory capable of superior manufacture of high volume commodity products such as these tubular wirewound resistors under 375 Watts.
EXPECTED INFLUENCE ON QUALITY/RELIABILTY/PERFORMANCE: The same raw materials will be used and no change in part quality / performance is expected.
