DESCRIPTION OF CHANGE: Vishay will discontinue two military style CLR65 ratings 14μF-125V case
T2 and 18μF -125V case T3.
CLASSIFICATION OF CHANGE: Product Discontinuation
REASON FOR CHANGE: We continue to have ongoing performance and yield issue for two CLR65
ratings 14μF-125V case T2 and 18μF -125V case T3. Vishay has attempted multiple improvement plans
without positive results over the past year. Vishay had decided to discontinue any further engineering redesign
efforts on these ratings in the silver case. The M39006/09 or CLR65 style has been labeled as
inactive for new design since 1982. Vishay will continue to offer the same ratings in the improved and
recommended style CLR79 (MIL-PRF-39006/22) tantalum case design. For more details, refer to table 2.
